New Client Process
Japanese Leaf

Sitting behind any successful proposition is a well designed and orchestrated process. The Lorica Wealth Management process is as follows:

  1. A telephone conversation will typically be held to arrange a meeting at a mutually convenient time for one of our senior advisers to meet with a prospective client.
  2. At the meeting we complete a Fact Find document containing all the background information about you and your family, your business interests your goals, aims and values, and this effectively forms the basis for the financial roadmap which we will prepare.
  3. As a result of the fact finding meeting, and on the basis that we all agree to continue the relationship, we will arrange a meeting where we will present our recommendations and there is often more than one option to consider. At that meeting we can demonstrate the impact of our recommendations through some of our financial modelling software. There is also an opportunity to view the effective results of some of the decisions that you may make. At this meeting the advice will be based on the contents of the original fact finding meeting and will be contained in the suitability letter which will accompany the recommendation.
  4. The next step, which may actually be at the same juncture as the recommendation meeting, depending on whether or not you as a client are prepared to accept the advice straight away – will be the commitment meeting which will be to formally agree to implement the strategic plan. At that point you will be signing a Terms of Engagement (TOE) with Lorica Wealth Management setting out the terms of our ongoing contractual relationship.
  5. Subsequent to the commitment meeting there will be other meetings which may include other professionals, from whom we need to enlist assistance in specialist areas, and there will also be a need to complete various transactional documents.
  6. In accordance with the Terms of Engagement that you have signed, there will be regular review meetings, reports and valuations. The ongoing meetings will enable us to review and rebalance your portfolios if they have got out of kilter and allow us to manage any change of circumstances that may have occurred.
